Gestures and Nods is a platform for performance art and embodied practices. It offers a space where these practices can be experienced, discussed, and reflected on.
It unfolds into a platform, a trans-geographical network, and an archive.

Learn, play, engage and protest – this is how we imagine art could exist and resist.

All Gestures and Nods events at Rosendal Teater are relaxed. Such accommodations mean that the theatre and performers adopt a relaxed attitude toward movement and sounds from the audience, audience members can come and go as they please, latecomers are allowed, and you can spend time in our relaxed space if needed during the performance.

Rosendal Teater sells ticket to each time slot, if you wish to participate in everything, you must purchase tickets to each individual one, four tickets in all.

Full programme starts on the 7th in other venues (Babel + NTNU).

NOTE! On the occasion of the passing of His Majesty King Harald V, we will observe the national one-minute silence at 1:00 PM during His Majesty's funeral. There will also be a small memorial area in the theater foyer for those who wish to mourn the King and remember his life and work. The planned activity at 1:00 PM will therefore start at 1:05 PM.
