Livets Bevegelser (Movements of Life) is a collage of many stories.
It tells the story of life as a young person with an intellectual disability. Not everything can be explained in words; it is expressed through dance and music. The experience is by turns funny, comical, challenging, and sad.
We believe many people will recognize themselves in these stories, or perhaps discover something new about what it means to be different.
The actors in the play have intellectual disabilities themselves. The stories were gathered through interviews with other young people with intellectual disabilities and transformed into narratives and images that resonate with many of us. The production was created through a collaborative process for DUS (Den Unge Scene). This year, we are adding new stories.

Artist talks after the performance

An artist talk with performers from the production will take place in the auditorium immediately after each performance. The moderator for the talks will be announced closer to the performance date. The talk is free of charge and lasts a maximum of 60 minutes.

Audio description december 5th

The performance on Saturday the 5th of December is audio described. Audio description is a narration of the visual information that would otherwise be received through the sense of sight. The performance will be audio described live in Norwegian. It is transmitted from a narrator and out through a headset given to the audience. The audience will get the necessary equipment to listen to the description at the box office before the performance start.
