Drag Syndrome: A Trailblazing Drag Troupe
Rosendal Teater brings Drag Syndrome to Trondheim Pride!
This year's Pride celebration is set to be nothing short of spectacular, especially with Drag Syndrome on stage! This troupe is renowned for their fantastic and eclectic style, ensuring every person in the audience is captivated by their talent and powerful message.
With their elaborate costumes, dramatic makeup, and dynamic choreography, each drag queen and drag king brings their unique flair to the stage. Through lip-syncing, dancing, and theatrical gestures, they not only deliver a world-class show but also convey powerful messages about the rights and abilities of individuals with Down syndrome.
Although the journey has been challenging for Drag Syndrome, facing issues like discrimination and controversies regarding their right to perform, they have never lost heart. They continue to fight for the performers' autonomy and artistic freedom, and their efforts have not gone unnoticed. Their performances have reached a wide audience, playing a crucial role in raising visibility in the arts and culture.
Drag Syndrome will be performing on the Pride stage, hosting an event at ISAK for young queers, and concluding with a sensational closing party! Join in the Pride celebration with Drag Syndrome for an evening filled with glittering costumes and loads of fun!
