Ownership
Rosendal Teater is an independent foundation, formerly known as Teaterhuset Avant Garden (TAG). TAG was established in 1984 by three independent, professional theater groups: Magna Vox, Petrusjka Teater, and Studio Teater. These three groups managed the theater for many years, presenting both their own productions and guest performances. At the time, TAG was located at Kjøpmannsgata 42. In 1993, Teaterhuset Avant Garden moved to Folkets hus at Olav Tryggvasons gate 5, where it operated until the spring of 2019. At that point, the theater relocated to Rosendal Teater, and TAG changed its name to Rosendal Teater.

The Rosendal Teater Foundation also owns 100% of the shares in Innherredsveien 73 AS, which owns the Rosendal Teater building. Innherredsveien 73 AS has its own board of directors, consisting of Eivind Bergsmyr (Chair), Hakim Lyngstadås, and Tore Matheson.
