Rosendal Teater er med på det fireårige europeiske samarbeidsprosjektet EUphoric Youth (2026–2029), støttet av EUs Creative Europe-program. Prosjektet samler ledende scenekunstinstitusjoner fra hele Europa, inkludert nasjonalteatre og prestisjefylte internasjonale plattformer for scenekunst.

Prosjektets ambisjoner er svært store, og ånden er modig og eksperimentell. Det blir svært spennende å se hvordan prosjektet utvikler seg på tvers av disse mangfoldige sosiale og kunstneriske kontekstene.

EUphoric Youth empowers teenagers across Europe to claim democratic agency via curatorial practice, reshaping Europe’s cultural landscape and how artistic institutions engage with youth.

The project advances Creative Europe’s innovation objective by developing a transferable methodology of open-source curation to meaningfully engage the public in artistic programming, enhance institutional openness, diversify audiences and collaborate across borders in a new, more inclusive manner whereby local embeddedness is not the opposite, but the prerequisite of transnational exchange.

Our project goes beyond conventional youth engagement models that are limited to the creation of specific artistic outputs. Rather, we involve teens in setting the agenda, embedding their voices in programming and public engagement strategies, the core of institutional operations, fostering long-term institutional innovation and audience diversification.
