16-year-old Nisha lives a double life. At home with her family, she is a Pakistani daughter, while out with friends she is an ordinary Norwegian teenage girl. When her father catches her with her boyfriend, her two worlds collide brutally. To set an example, her parents decide to kidnap Nisha and place her with relatives in Pakistan. Here, in a country she has never been to before, Nisha must adapt to her parents' culture (Filmweb.no).

The movie will be shown in Rosendal Kafé, and admission is free. After the screening, it will be possible to buy food made by Lamomat to complement the movie. In addition, there will be a conversation with Lamomat, where guests can ask questions.

This fall, Rosendal Teater has invited two different groups to curate film nights where they themselves are responsible for the film and the concept. Lamomat is a project by and with women who serve homemade food from Afghanistan, Somalia and Syria, and who have a pop-up kitchen in Rosendal café once a week.
