Suppekjøkken Høst 2025
Spis gratis lunsj med oss og en utvalgt kunstner!
Take a break from your everyday life with a free lunch and an informal chat about art!
At Suppekjøkken you can get to know the artists who will soon be on stage with us. The Suppekjøkken is part of Rosendal Teater's initiative to make art more accessible - here we open the doors for conversations and fellowship.
On the menu is a delicious, homemade soup - served by this spring's soup chef Hilde Stålkjær Osen, who also runs the Lamomat project. Together with us you can hear about the artists' thoughts, creative processes and themes that affect us all. Here you can get a unique insight behind the scenes, ask questions, and maybe even share your own reflections in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
Just come as you are - we look forward to meeting you over a warm bowl of soup.
Free entrance and free soup <3
In the fall of 2025, we present a soup kitchen with:
11.09 Young curators
Rosendal's young curators have worked all year to curate a bunch of cool events, including Fæst for Byen, Pride performance and Protestfest during the Bastard festival. At this soup kitchen, they will come to talk about their work and the events they have created.
02.10 Teater Manu
Teater Manu is Norway's only professional theater that uses sign language as a stage language! When they now show the satirical Bunkersen, which was made in collaboration with Jo Strømgren Kompani, you can hear more about how sign language and Strømgren's physical theater form merge into a dystopian drama.
27.11 Kristinsdotter/Willyson
The artist duo Kristinsdottir/Willyson are known for experimental, painful and hilarious performances with big questions, strong emotions and small people. This time they talk about what it's like to set up a travel diary in pub format, now that they're playing Safariland in Trondheim.
