Your shadow explores the experience of multiple voices, of being followed and watched over by a layer of ourselves with a shifting form and the ability to appear and disappear. Using shadow as theme and metaphor the performers give their attention to the individual and the companion, dancing their connection and the spaces between.

Loan Ha and Kristina Gjems have had an artistic and personal exchange for over 10 years. Your shadow is their first duet. Through their previous collaborations, clear meeting points have emerged with a common philosophical approach to body and movement and shared principles ​​of values ​​and humanity. The way their art relates to life influences their working process and expression. In addition to their dance experience, they share somatic practices that are important sources of experiencing the body’s inner life and different systems in a state of constant interaction.

The choreographic process of Your shadow is initiated by Kristina Gjems, based on her vision and artistry.
