Spring is approaching, and we are ready for a month full of artistic experiences, thought-provoking performances and musical highlights.

Døden i Venezia av Ymist (2. & 3. april) What happens when we refuse to act, even when the world around us is shaking? Ymist brings a scenic interpretation of Thomas Mann's classic, where choreographed movement, text and music merge in an exploration of human self-deception. After the performance on April 2, there will be an artist talk with the company.

Lulu Quartet jazzkonsert (5. april) What's better than a fresh jazz quartet? Lulu Quartet consists of four young, promising musicians who take you on a journey through everything from Kurt Weill to Bobby Hutcherson - in addition to their own compositions. Energy, playfulness and unpredictable paths characterize the interaction in this concert.

Søndagsjazz + Jam (6. april) Every other Sunday, Rosendal Café is filled with jazz. Drummer Udi Shlomo invites a handpicked ensemble of musicians to create the atmosphere. The band plays two sets, and ends the evening with an open jam. Bring a friend and enjoy a relaxed Sunday in the café!

Only Connect Trondheim 2025 (10.–12. april) Only Connect is an annual festival for contemporary music, sound art and innovative expression. We look forward to hosting the city's music-loving audience in April!

Tor & Willy: Teaterfortellinger (18. april) Tor and his alter ego Willy are back! With a mix of drama and reality, they offer a different theater evening, where simple and family-friendly staging is in focus. You will meet Tor on stage, while Willy appears on the screen.

Karaoke! (25. april) Sequins or slippers? It doesn't matter – as long as you are ready to sing! Whether you prefer to be a chorister from the chair or to shine behind the microphone, you are warmly welcome to an evening of sing-alongs and good atmosphere in Rosendal Kafé.

Isak & Ingeborg (27. april) The duo takes their starting point from the American jazz tradition and mix old classics with their own compositions. With vocals and piano, they challenge the genre's framework and create a creative interplay.

Operakafé: Kjærligheten- Intens, innbilt, irrasjonell? (29. april) Sigrid Bøe, Anne Birgitte Bouwhuis Røkke and pianist Knut Erik Jensen offer an evening of passionate arias and romances. With music from Wagner, Verdi, Puccini and more, this will be an evening filled with both love and drama.

Nabojazz (30. april) Welcome to a new season of Nabojazz in Rosendal Kafé! The evening offers varied musical expressions, with curator Udi Shlomo putting together unique ensembles each time. Sit down with a glass of something good and enjoy the tunes from tonight's musicians.
