Since January the four curators Marit, Nicolai, Maiken og Ferdinand have been meeting with the theatre’s artistic team to reflect on what Rosendal Theatre could be for them.
They have discussed theatre, dance, club culture, emotions, politics, Palestine, protests and parades. From tags and Tiktoks to slugs, zine publishing and seagulls. They’ve debated art’s role in social change, inclusion, protest, and community-building.
With all these conversations as a foundation, the curators host three collaboratively curated events with Rosendal this autumn: Fæst for byen, a performance event at the Trondheim Pride parade day, a protest party — all artistically supercharged, politically engaged, and deeply personally motivated.
