Duration: 3 hours - Durational
Language: Non verbal
Saturday 29. March 14:00
Sal 1
An enchanting dance performance where extravagant and peculiar event interlace with gentle moments. The performance invites the audience's curiosity as well as it provides a calm and intimate space for relaxation.

The performance from 14:00 – 17:00 is specifically for neurodivergent children up to 6 years of age and for children and youth up to 18 years of age who use wheelchairs. Why this specific target group? It is based on the choreographer's experience and a wish for the composition of the group, and we at DansiT want to facilitate that children with disabilities and/or who are neurodivergent are offered opportunities to experience performing arts on their own terms and without the invisible barriers they often encounter when participating in performances.

Fields of Tender builds on the three yearlong research project “Towards sensuous ecologies, Rethinking ableism in choreographic and movement practices” by Dalija Acin developed at Stockholms University by the Arts. The abundance of dance, music, sounds, extraordinary objects and interactive video projections fosters the audience togetherness, easefulness and empowerment. Fields of Tender caters to all senses and embraces every individual, inviting you to savor the performance on your own terms. It provides a variety of experiences for all types of perceptions, and it welcomes all kinds of behaviors.

Across its extended duration, spectators are welcome to enter and exit at their leisure, fostering a fluid and personalized journey through this mesmerizing landscape of emotion and exploration.

TICKET INFO:

Each ticket is for one child plus one adult. Please make sure you only buy one ticket per child. If you want to bring more adults (parents, grandparents, friends) or siblings, then they are the most welcome. They will be able to buy tickets at the ticket desk. Please note that if you bring a sibling under the age of 6, an extra parent is recommended to take care of the child within the performance installation.

That means that you do not have to be at the theater at the start time, and it means that you do no thave to stay until the end. You are welcome to go in and out of the space as is needed during the performance period.

The performance is presented by DansiT and is a part of Multiplié Dance Festival 2025

Content description

Rosendal Theatre programs work that challenges what performing arts can be, where it takes place, and who creates it. We collaborate with voices that are less frequently heard, those that are marginalised and alternative. As a result, the performances often present challenging content and expressions. If you feel the need to leave the performance partway through, we maintain a low threshold and full understanding for this. On the second floor, you will find a relaxed zone where you can retreat. You can read more about the relaxed zone and accessibility here.
