For a number of years, Iggy Malmborg has been a regular artist at Teaterhuset Avant Gardens, and now Rosendal's, season program and at Bastard - Trondheim International Performing Arts Festival. Iggy adds the necessary semiotic question marks to theatrical art, filtered through the antithetical in the meeting between theater and performance. His dramaturgical mastery creates connections with audiences where they thought the textual content was dry and academic. His language consists of the simultaneously present elements body, language, space, agent, actor, situation. The completely unique approach makes Iggy Malmborg one of Europe's theater innovators.
