In KAUK, Magnus Myhr unleashes queer rage with tricks and skills from the old days.

«Det kryr av rasshøl og troll

og hets, kontroll og vold

Men a Mimmi mint mæ på dealen:

«Det e du som kjøre herre bilen»

For many years and through several solo performances, Magnus Myhr has explored the queer body, feminine strategies, a troubled upbringing – and even learned to play the harp.

Now, he just feels like yelling and dancing. So that’s what he does! In KAUK, Magnus unleashes queer rage with tricks and skills from the old days. Because he needs it, in the hope that it might help – and so it won’t disappear. So he won’t disappear.

Magnus Myhr (b. 1985, he/him) is from Klæbu in Trøndelag and has extensive experience as a performer and choreographer within dance, performance, musical theatre, and drama – both in the independent field and at a wide range of institutional theatres.
