Skeive Stemmer Opera Company celebrates the launch of Skeivt Kulturår 2022, and highlights an exciting repertoire from opera, operetta and a dash of musical. Skeive Stemmer with Eldrid, Maria and Therese comes to Trondheim, and is happy to present tonight's guest artist: Kristin Lundemo Overøye!

Skeive Stemmer Opera Company is Norway's first queer opera company by, with and for the queers. They want to create an arena that provides work for - and space for the development of queer talents and stories. In pleasant relaxed surroundings you will be served beautiful music and good food! The opera company consists of three newly graduated opera singers. They have their academic background from the Norwegian Academy of Music, Barratt Due Music Institute and the Opera Academy at the Oslo Academy of the Arts. Skeive Stemmer debuted as a group when they participated in the opening of Oslo Pride 2019, they opened the Opera Café in September 2020, while the group has more and more performances in both Oslo and Trøndelag. All 3 singers also have their own solo careers. Next year, Skeive Stemmer presents their first full opera production

Kristin Lundemo Overøye received her education at Rose Bruford College, London, in Actor Musicianship, and one year at the Music Theater line at Bårdar Academy, Oslo. Kristin has experience as both an actor and a musician. She is a versatile artist, communicator and teacher, who has also performed as a soloist in several church concerts.
