Heavy rock riffs, catchy melodies, poetic soundscapes and absurd scenes create excitement among young and old in the audience. With visual and aural expressions from the world of rock, Rock me Baby challenges what art for the youngest can be - in a safe setting and of course within an acceptable sound level.

Within the glam and poodle rock scene of the 1970s and 80s, the boundaries between genders became less clear, and the artists often appeared with an androgynous expression. When the five male performers in Rock me baby explore this historical trend, it opens up new possibilities for how gender can be expressed.

Rock me Baby is created by Øystein Elle and Karstein Solli, who have previously collaborated on several popular performances for young children, shown both nationally and internationally. Kjell I. Nordstrøm, known from the entertainment series Maskorama on NRK, has designed the show's spectacular costumes.
