Note! Artist talk after the film

The film will be screened with English subtitles

Through 30 years of international recognition, the Australian Back To Back Theater has made projects that examine assumptions about what is possible in the theater, and assumptions we have about ourselves and others. For this film, which is their first feature film, they won the generous Audience Award at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival earlier this year.

Shadow is recorded with people with different functional variations both in front and behind the camera. The film is about Simon, Scott and Sarah, a trio of activists with intellectual challenges, who hold an open city meeting about future consequences of artificial intelligence. What begins as a polite discussion quickly moves into quarrels and chaos, seemingly provoked by inner forces. Do not miss the chance to see this film, which according to SXSW is: "Bold, risk-taking artists in a new film landscape that demonstrates raw innovation and creativity in documentary and narrative art"
