Skal vi grille? (Let's barbeque?)
By Sir Grand Lear (NO/DK)
Memorable and thought-provoking BBQ-night at the beach
Language: Norwegian
NB! In spite of the performance being held outdoors, we have a limited amount of tickets. Make sure to order your tickets early on!
We are tempted by the juicy hotdogs on the barbeque when the sun finally comes out after a long winter. Maybe we need a new dress for our birthday this year, too. We long to travel to Syden, and we love eating snacks and watching Netflix after a long week.
The consumption in our daliy life has become a ritual for us. But what happens with this ritual when we remember the climate crisis? When we know deep down, we can’t continue the way we want to? We have to change the ritual, and we have to do it together.
Skal vi grille? (Let's barbeque?) is a performance where you are invited to the beach to explore these questions. Together, we will put the last hotdog on the fire and scatter the ashes in the ocean. An ancient ritual where people gather around the fire will resurrect. The Danish/Norwegian scenography duo Sir Grand Lear, consisting of Lea Burrows and Ingvild R. Grande, will serve you a performance you’ve never seen the likes of before. A show that won’t take place without you, without all of us gathering. Get yourself ready for a memorable thought-provoking barbeque at the beach.
