On the stage, the laboratory is ready: A giant magnifying glass. A large white screen. Colorful materials. Test tubes. Chalk. A scientist works in the laboratory. A drawing emerges on the large canvas. Of children. Many children. Different children. A boy with a striped sweater. A girl with curly hair. Three boys with caps on their heads. The audience responds: "That's us! She's drawing us! That's me. There you are!"
In Tankelaboratoriet (="The Thought Laboratory") we explore diversity and differences. None of us are the same, and we all have our way of facing the world. Sometimes, we react with strong emotions, and even though we long to be understood, we find that others withdraw. In the laboratory, we attempt to uncover and examine the misunderstandings that are not easy to detect, through various art forms and live music on the stage.
Welcome to a beautiful and important performance for children aged 6 and up!
