March 8 at Rosendal Teater - International solidarity

in collaboration with AKKS, Feminalen and Samspill

True to tradition, Rosendal Teater marks this year’s Women’s Day in collaboration with AKKS, Feminalen and Samspill International Music Network. We encourage all kinds of women and people who know a woman to celebrate with us!

For several years, Rosendal Theatre, in collaboration with AKKS Trondheim and Feminalen, has celebrated Women's Day with parties, speeches and music. New this year is the collaboration with Samspill International Music Network, and this year's focus is international solidarity. To the delight of many, the fantastic Lamomat will provide the food, which is a feast in itself. We look forward to an evening of good food, music and dancing - quite simply, a real party night for anyone who identifies as a woman or who knows someone who identifies as a woman.

18.00-19.30 The kitchen is open - Lamomat serves dinner!

21.00-22.00 Concert with Marianna Sangita A. Røe

We will be visited by the Greek-Norwegian vocalist and percussionist Marianna Sangita A. Røe. Røe, who invites you to an evening filled with groove, reflection and melodious interplay. Together with Heida Karine Johannesdottir on tuba and Risten Anine Gaup on luohti (joik), you will have the opportunity to experience a truly unique concert experience. Together they will improvise and put together a repertoire that is very special for Women's Day.

The evening will end with DJ SashaSoroka, a Norwegian-Ukrainian DJ who loves all things glittery. Her playlist is a fantastic mix of different genres, spiced up with everything from glitchy IDM to sparkling synthpop.
