Imagine encountering a massive cube. A massive clump of rust, metal, and debris - like a compressed scrap heap from the past. Then the cube comes to life, and with it, you are ensnared in a series of strange, incomprehensible events. What does the cube want with you? Is there something controlling it? And, most importantly, will you ever escape?
Puls raises questions related to humanity's footprint on Earth. Humans have a strong urge to create, build, and innovate. In the pursuit of more, we leave behind significant amounts of wreckage. But what happens to humans when confronted with the results of what we have created? Do we really have control over what we create?
Puls is a magical and thrilling performance. Through wordless, physical theater and visually spectacular effects, it immerses the audience in a new and absurd world, a world where interpretation is allowed freely, without definitive answers. This is a performance you rarely see – full of wonder, surprises, and energy!"
Puls is co-produced with Teatret Vårt and had its world premiere at Ulsteinvik in September 2022. Now you can experience this magical performance in Trondheim!
